POETIC DELIGHT BY AIMA RAMZAN

The Beauty in the Broken

Your scars are not your shame

They are proof you survived the pain

But people, why do they always blame?

Oh child, they hide theirs so are lame,

Your scars are reason for your fame

They are your stories to identify you,

Along with whom in this world you came

And dark is your color, not what you claim.
