POETIC DEDICATIONS BY JUAN GARRIDO SALGADO-AUSTRALIA

Dedication to Tajalla Qureshi, Pakistan

1-"Your Eyes"

Your eyes are not blinded by the other side of the image.

That hides the beauty of your gaze.

Your eyes are wings of an impossible mirror.

These verses implore the eternal spirit of dreams

to free the hidden space of seeing what is possible.

I can see the incredible vision of your heart...

through my ink and your poetic voice.

" Tus Ojos"

2-"The poem that flies towards your name Tajalla"

I have lines that are branches of ancient leaves

Sailing towards the blue

I don't know what's coming, storm or calm

I am a ghost anchored in the park

Waiting for your wings

To alight on my words

And thus, create with the ink of the wind

The poem that flies towards your name Tajalla

And thus complete, like a prayer, the joy of your name.

poema que vuele hacia tu nombre Tajalla'

3- The Moonlight in a verse by Neruda

The night is starry,

and the stars shiver, blue, in the distance".

Poem 20 -Pablo Neruda

(from Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Despair)

Tajalla gives us the moonlight in a verse by Neruda

Night enters the darkness of the empty page.

I write tonight sadness plays outside with the cold

In the distance she is light in the verse

The night covers the unfinished poem

Only you dream the metaphor

I, cover myself with an absent star

trapped in the desire of distant wings.
