POETIC DELIGHTS BY IRMA KURTI-ITALY

1-During the trip

The soul fills

up slowly

during my trip,

with impressions

and desires,

with magical

and rare emotions,

with a thousand

perfumes, colors,

and it blossoms

like a tulip.

It was lukewarm

and had slowed

from the usual

frenetic pace.

It looked like

a dry well, dark

not very deep,

fed by

almost nothing

but the passage

of time.

The soul fills

up slowly

during my trip.

2-The words on my lips

All languages

of the world

are spoken

here. Only

my language

is not heard,

although

I open

my ears

just like

windmills.

Its letters

can’t caress

my being.

For a few weeks,

I don’t speak

it, there is

something

that I miss.

I start then

to sing,

and people think

I'm crazy.

The taste

of the honey

the words

leave on

my lips.

3-The weather forecast

The weather forecast

predicts an azure sky;

a very warm breeze

will blow. The sun

will rise early and

it will set late.

To enjoy the lovely

season, a blue sky

is not enough. You

must hold in your

soul the season

of spring and sun.
