1-Beyond Dream

I cannot leap since I’m engulfed

Within the domain of war

A demarcation in my mind, it jostles

This land is of mine to savior, the heart says

As when the wind caresses the whiff of vinegar

This wide prairie land in my eyes

I spread my wings as if freedom is with me

Poignancy I feel since the cloud masquerades

The silvery fliers to the land

I squeak, my sweet child transfixes

My mind dwells in qualm

Smothered by dark dream

With the silhouette of smoke that billows

The callous winds caresses since the siren bellows

Hearts shrieks in yonder

It’s just within an inch of distance

Where I might feel safe

The land may not be of mine to tread

As a different identity I’m marked

Can I quell my shredded heart?

I wonder if the same place

I would embrace with my heart

And, find the same palpitation

Over my tattered body that glorifies

For one benign home to cook edible foods

And, peace would shower

With an arrival of a divine messenger

Even when I can’t think of my age as years drift

The sunset might tell in the feeble winter

To not remember the hymn of a minnow

That withers along with the relic of debris

Somewhere far in my home

2-Mystify and glorify-Life embraced

Life revered in tandem, the world listened to me

Filled with joy over a tiny dream

Such an ethereal day, I transfixed my hope

A string of feelings reverberated 

The rays of sun, I did not really feel

A benign day with new waves showered my body

I frolicked, rode over the moment

Amidst those joys, on sudden

I got mystified when the castigations ricocheted 

Petrified, perplexed, I beseeched a point

It rather dazed me, no clarity

Bereft shrouded as feeble within my body

Invaded without any reason I could not resist

Yet I acted, I did not hear the sound of disdain

I checked my legs, hands and entire body

Defended the castigations with submission

All those scenes I captured vividly

Mockery, I did not really feel

It’s just a bitter retribution over my apathies

I endeavored a way out of my life

No ways, I had to go through

I then walked the days in new whiff as it went on

When the spring breeze caressed my head 

Bliss enthralled, yet one doubt smothered my mind

A vague picture relentlessly hovered around my eyes

How delightful it was, the joy rather enveloped me

The days glorified as my life reigned

Bestowed with contempt the world once embraced

You`re A Full Moon

Your sacred voice, the lithe sprouts in a cadence

And you bloom in your landscape, a finely smeared

A fresh and elegant engraved by the universe

And, you dance around your wall, swaying your hairs

Loosen off the skill meticulously, the body mingles

Mesmerizes with the art of your eyes

You dwell in your contour, you give a warm touch

A splendor you transcend with your own pace

In a mild affable and kind reflection

You whisper in agile, creating a soft rhythm

A milder motion, you swift in your lilt

Spontaneously, sprinkling your fragrance

And, I presume your hairs beckoning from distant

Feel your presence sprinkling sweet aroma

Haunting my mind soars slowly into a fine-spun moment

A Banker and Investor by profession, Hum B. Ale is a Nepalese Poet and Writer who received a

Masters Degree with Specialization in Finance from Tribhuwan University. He worked in the

Asia Foundation and South Asia Partnership Nepal for Social Research and Financial

Management for 11 years. He also taught business students in various colleges and is currently
